Founder & Principal Advisor
Dixon Davis
With more than 25 years of experience advising medical practices, Dixon is a recognized expert in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, governance, business valuations, and leadership development. He has served as lead advisor on numerous private equity acquisitions, facilitated strategic planning sessions for specialty groups across the country, and taught thousands on podium and in classroom settings.
His career started in commercial health insurance and then transitioned to hospital administration. He found his passion working directly with physicians and other providers in the practice setting — leading mid- to large-size independent medical and surgical groups and developing a large network of multispecialty groups owned by HCA Healthcare.
He worked for a privately owned group for a number of years leading large educational conferences, overseeing retail sales for medical publications, creating software applications, and developing training for medical practice managers around the country.
In 2004 he transitioned to full-time consulting and has since worked with hundreds of medical and surgical specialties across the country, and supported large industry companies providing training in 15 different countries.
Outside of work, his greatest passion is his wife, three children, and their spouses. He loves the outdoors — especially road and mountain biking — and serving in his church congregation, helping others find hope and peace in a chaotic world.
Associate Consultant
Christen Price
Christen is a finance and strategy leader with a decade of post-MBA experience specializing in corporate development, valuations, analytics, and scalable reporting. She brings a unique combination of financial rigor and systems-building expertise that helps medical practices make confident, data-driven decisions.
She began her career with a rapidly growing medical practice, where she built the company's reporting ecosystem from the ground up. Her work created the financial and operational infrastructure that enabled the organization to scale. She led due diligence, valuations, and analytics for multiple acquisitions and supported the organization through rapid growth and private equity sale-readiness.
Her consulting experience includes serving as a fractional CFO — guiding clients through financial strategy, operational decision-making, hiring, and growth planning. She has also developed valuation models and standardized analytical tools used across the industry.
Christen lives in Arizona with her husband and their two young children. She loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time outside with her kids whenever she can.
